The key to growing any business is to operate a good network. It is the most cost efficient, time efficient and energy efficient way to get your message across.

Established in March 2006, we have become probably the largest non-fee paying business network in the West and perhaps in Ireland. We are probably the largest non-affiliated network in the country with no bias towards any chamber or other groups.

Today, Business & Breakfast Network is made up of 30 individual businesses across 30 different sectors from the wider Galway commercial community. As a networking group, our focus is clear, simple and practical:

We focus on 1-2-1 relationships with each member on the basis that business can only grow if you have trust & if people have a clear understanding of your service.

Business & Breakfast Network is run by its founding committee on this belief. To this end, membership rules are few, simple and practical:

a.) One member per industry. There are no competing members
b.) Attendance is required 45 weeks out of 52 meetings a year
c.) We operate a No-Substitution policy. Members required to attend in person

Other than these basic requirements, there is little formality. The group has thrived on a professional – yet casual – approach to relationship building and most if not all members’ businesses have gained from involvement in one form or another. Some may gain from referrals, others from sharing ideas while others have become clients of each other and in some cases, members have joined with each other for certain business projects.

There is more to life than business and to that end, we also run occasional social events such as nights out, summer BBQs’, Christmas drinks and an annual charity raising event for local worthy causes.
